Overview

  • This release introduces weekly comp time calculation, employee time requests, improved overtime approval, a new Comp Time report, and an optional ISO Compliance module.

Presence and Comp Time

  • Comp time is now calculated week by week by comparing actual worked hours with the hours required by the employee's shift.
  • Hours above the weekly requirement are added to the balance, while hours below the requirement are deducted.
  • Weekend work, holidays, approved absences, and flexible shifts are handled more accurately.
  • Overtime approval is now kept separate from comp time.
  • Employees can submit Add time requests from their own clock page when time is missing.
  • Requested time is only added after approval by a reviewer.
  • Managers can select and approve or reject multiple overtime entries at once.
  • A new Comp Time report under Presence → Reports → Comp Time shows current balance, required hours, worked hours, weekly plus or minus, manual adjustments, and running balance.
  • The Comp Time report can be exported to Excel.
  • Absences of type Other can now be marked as Report as work time for courses, exhibitions, training days, and similar activities.

ISO Compliance

  • MNT now includes an optional ISO Compliance module supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO 50001.
  • The module includes nonconformities and corrective actions, controlled documents and revisions, internal and external audits, risks and opportunities, objectives and KPIs, management reviews, compliance obligations, clause libraries, reminders, and digital signatures.
  • Faults in MNT can be converted directly into ISO nonconformities.
  • A new Evidence Pack can generate PDF or Excel documentation containing selected compliance records for audits.
  • The Compliance overview highlights overdue actions, document reviews, audits, risks, calibration, certifications, and maintenance.
  • The MNT Help Assistant can answer questions about supported ISO requirements and indicate where related evidence is stored in MNT.
  • AI assistance can help draft selected content including corrective actions, risk descriptions, audit findings, and document changes.
  • AI-generated content is not inserted or saved until approved by the user.

Language and Reliability Improvements

  • Several older database areas have been upgraded to full Unicode support.
  • Names and text using international characters, including Nordic, Greek, Cyrillic, Chinese, and emoji, can now be stored correctly throughout MNT.
  • Presence permissions are now copied correctly when duplicating a role.
  • Portuguese translations have been improved.
  • Greek is now enabled correctly on new installations.
  • File uploads now handle international filenames more reliably.
  • Several CIMCO MDC-Max settings and reliability issues have been improved.

Upgrade

  • The upgrade is automatic with no manual database changes required.
  • ISO Compliance is optional and disabled by default. It can be enabled under Settings → ISO Compliance, with access configured under Settings → Permissions.
  • Because comp time now uses the new weekly calculation, administrators should review balances under Presence → Reports → Comp Time after upgrading.

Overview

  • This release introduces automatic fault creation from CIMCO MDC-Max machine alarms, improved absence handling, comp-time visibility, Presence-based salary calculations, and several security improvements.

CIMCO MDC-Max Alarm Integration

  • MNT can now connect to CIMCO MDC-Max and automatically create faults from machine alarms.
  • Administrators can define which alarms create faults, which should be ignored, and which priority they should receive.
  • A new Alarm approval page lists alarms generated by connected machines, making it easier to approve or ignore alarms without creating rules manually.
  • Short alarms can be ignored automatically.
  • Repeated alarms can be added to an existing open fault.
  • New faults can be marked as repeats when the same problem occurs again.
  • Historical alarms can be imported from CIMCO before enabling the integration.
  • Selected users can be notified when new unknown alarms are detected.
  • Fault creation can optionally wait until the machine is running.
  • An optional watchdog can warn users if an approved alarm unexpectedly stops appearing.

Absence and Comp Time

  • Employees can now register absence for part of a day, for example from 08:00 to 12:00.
  • Partial-day absence is supported for vacation, sick leave, comp time, and other absence types.
  • Vacation balances now correctly include partial days.
  • Only approved vacation reduces the vacation balance.
  • Employees now have a My absences section on the Employee Clock page.
  • Pending absence requests can be edited or withdrawn.
  • Employees can request changes or cancellation of approved absences without changing the approved record automatically.
  • Current comp-time balance is now shown directly on Employee Clock and shared clock pages.

Personnel Cost Analytics

  • Personnel Cost Analytics can now optionally calculate salary cost from hours actually registered in Presence.
  • This allows personnel costs to follow real clocked working time instead of a fixed monthly amount.

Security Improvements

  • Uploaded files now require an authenticated user.
  • The login page no longer exposes usernames or email addresses.
  • API documentation now requires login by default.
  • Additional web-server protection and request limits have been added.
  • License activation information is now handled more securely.

SPC and General Improvements

  • SPC now shows the order of linked measurements more clearly, making it easier for operators to see what should be measured next.
  • Maintenance checklists can now include PDF files as well as pictures.
  • Presence time-adjustment controls have been improved for mobile devices.
  • Absence forms are now cleared correctly when changing employee on the shared clock.
  • Fixed absence dates on servers outside European time zones.
  • Employees can now only see their own absences unless they are authorized reviewers.
  • Invalid absence date ranges are now blocked.

Backup Cleanup and Upgrade

  • MNT now automatically removes old update and database backups while always keeping the two newest database backups.
  • Windows installer upgrades require no manual database changes.
  • CIMCO MDC-Max alarm integration is optional and can be configured under Settings → CIMCO MDC.
