Work Orders & Planning
A major highlight in these releases is the introduction of planned Work Orders, expanding MNT beyond reactive maintenance. Work Orders can now be used for installations, upgrades, planned repairs, and external technician visits, with scheduled start and end dates, reminder emails, and separate filtering from standard faults. Together with drag-and-drop rescheduling directly in the interface, this makes MNT a more flexible planning tool for supervisors and maintenance teams.
Inventory Booking & Digital Contracts
These releases also introduce a full Inventory Booking system for tools and shared equipment. The new booking workflow includes calendar-based reservations, conflict detection to prevent double bookings, reminder emails, and digital signatures at both checkout and return. Printable PDF contracts with both signatures strengthen documentation and accountability, while flexible calendar views and drag-and-drop booking changes make planning shared equipment significantly easier.
Forms, Uploads & Documentation
The Forms module has also been expanded with improved scheduling options, configurable submission limits, and automated notifications. Operators can now upload files directly when completing forms, and file uploads are also supported in maintenance checklists. This makes it easier to attach photos, documentation, and supporting evidence directly to inspections, tasks, and compliance workflows.
Shop-Floor Visibility & Fullscreen Management
Shop-floor communication has been improved with a new fullscreen notification system designed to display important operational messages in real time. At the same time, fullscreen screen management has been expanded with dedicated create, edit, and delete support, giving administrators better control over on-site displays and production-facing communication.
AI, Signatures & Security
AI functionality has also been strengthened in these updates. MNT now supports xAI Grok and DeepSeek as additional AI providers, while model lists for Anthropic and OpenAI have been updated. The Improve button now provides more context-aware assistance, and chatbot stability has been improved by fixing state loss during page navigation.
Security has been significantly strengthened across settings, storage connections, CSP handling, error responses, and chatbot output sanitization. Sensitive settings such as API keys and passwords are now stored in encrypted form. Signature workflows have also been improved, with signature dialogs now pre-filling the logged-in user’s name.
Additional Improvements
Additional improvements include enterprise-ready storage configuration options, new translation keys for AI providers across all supported languages, improved UI consistency across multiple modules, and a range of usability enhancements that strengthen MNT as a platform for daily operations, documentation, communication, and control.
Together, these updates make CIMCO MNT a broader and more capable platform, improving planning, equipment handling, documentation, shop-floor communication, AI-assisted workflows, and system security.
