Presence & Visitor Management
A major highlight in these releases is the introduction of Presence & Visitor Management. MNT now supports visitor pre-registration, kiosk check-in and check-out, host approval, employee clocking, shift handling, and live presence overview. This expands the platform well beyond traditional maintenance workflows and makes it easier to manage both visitors and employees in one unified system.
Calibration Registry
These releases also introduce a new Calibration Registry, giving companies a structured way to manage calibration workflows, track history, generate certificates, monitor status, and synchronize calibration data with Inventory. This improves compliance handling and provides better control of tools and assets that require documented calibration management.
Kiosk, Public Access & Fullscreen Displays
Public access and fullscreen functionality have also been expanded significantly. MNT now includes public pages without login for registration, kiosk use, employee clocking, checkout, and fullscreen displays. New fullscreen content for Reported Errors, Scheduled Maintenance, and Maintenance in Process improves visibility on the factory floor, while support for URL-based fullscreen content adds even more flexibility for dashboards, kiosks, and TV displays.
Licensing & Offline Activation
Licensing has also been strengthened in these updates. New installations can now start with an automatic 30-day Enterprise trial, making onboarding easier for new customers. In addition, MNT now supports offline license activation using signed activation files, allowing secure activation in isolated environments without outbound internet access. License information is now handled more clearly in offline or firewall-restricted setups, with improved messaging and better local license data handling.
Additional Improvements
Additional improvements include visitor badge printing via Brother QL label printers, RFID and NFC badge login for employees, improved handling of active clock sessions, direct editing of shift assignments, stronger administrator role logic, and a range of fixes related to fullscreen display stability, reverse proxy environments, license persistence, and overall system usability.
Together, these updates make CIMCO MNT a broader and more flexible platform, improving visitor handling, workforce visibility, calibration compliance, factory-floor communication, and deployment options across both connected and restricted environments.
